FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about working with FIT Nutrition & Testing Clinic

Q: What is food intolerance testing?

A: Food intolerance testing measures your body's IgG antibody response to different foods. At FIT, I use YorkTest's Premium 200-Food Intolerance Test - the UK's gold-standard IgG testing with over 40 years of clinical experience. The test identifies which foods may be triggering inflammation, bloating, fatigue, skin issues or other symptoms, so we can create a personalised plan tailored to your body.

Q: How does the testing process work?

A: It's simple. The test kit is delivered to your home with clear instructions. You complete a finger-prick blood sample and return it using the prepaid envelope. Results are typically available within 7 days. Once your results are ready, we'll have a consultation where I explain your results and create your personalised nutrition plan.

What's included in my test package?

A: Every testing package includes the test itself, a full results consultation with me (Becki Hawkins BSc, mBANT, CNHC), a personalised nutrition plan tailored to your results, targeted supplement recommendations, recipe guidance, and ongoing email/WhatsApp support. You're never just left with results - you get expert interpretation and a clear action plan.

Q: What qualifications do you have?

A: I hold a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Nutrition and am a registered nutritional therapist with both BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council). I'm also a certified YorkTest Partner Practitioner and have over 20 years of experience in clinical nutrition, recipe design and nutrition consultancy.

Q: Who do you work with?

A: I work with clients of all ages - from children with food sensitivities to busy professionals, athletes, families, and anyone dealing with gut issues, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, skin problems or food confusion. Whether you're 1 or 91, if you're ready to stop guessing and start understanding what your body is trying to tell you, I can help.

Q: Where are you based?

A: FIT Nutrition & Testing Clinic is based in Warwickshire, UK. However, all consultations are conducted remotely via video call, so I work with clients across the entire UK.

Q: How much do your services cost, and do you offer payment plans?

A: Testing packages range from Β£145-Β£239. Premium transformation packages (which include multiple tests and comprehensive support) range from Β£199-Β£329. Ongoing nutrition support programmes range from Β£99-Β£375.

A: Yes, payment plans are available to help make testing and support more accessible. Contact me by email to discuss options.

Q: How long until I see results?

A: Many clients report feeling better within weeks of implementing their personalised plan. For example, clients often notice reduced bloating, improved energy and better digestion within 4-8 weeks. However, everyone's journey is different depending on their symptoms and how consistently they follow their plan.

Q: Will I have to avoid foods forever?

A: No. This isn't about permanent restriction. Once we've identified your trigger foods and given your body time to heal, we can work on reintroducing foods strategically. The goal is food freedom and understanding - not lifelong elimination.

Q: What support do I get after my consultation?

A: You'll have ongoing email and WhatsApp support, so you can ask questions about food labels, restaurant menus, supplement timing or any other day-to-day queries. I'm here to support you through the whole journey, not just hand you results and disappear.

Q: How do I decide which package is right for me?

A: Take my FIND YOUR FIT quiz! Each one is designed to help you identify which service matches your symptoms, goals and health history. Alternatively, you can book a free 15-minute FIT Health Review and we can discuss which option would be best for you.

Q: Do you work with children?

A: Yes, I work with children of all ages, including those with food sensitivities, eczema, digestive issues or behavioural concerns that may be food-related. Testing and consultations are gentle, supportive and family-friendly.
